I'm so fortunate to be able to enjoy the great lakes on and under the water.
In an interview with X-Ray magazine's Gunild Syme, I'm able to sit and actually reflect on the journey of becoming a diver and artist - a journey that's been intertwined but being able to look back by speaking about my art and seeing it arranged as they've done so, gives me perspective and is very gratifying for me as an artist. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my motivations, why I paint and what it's been like capturing the world underwater for me.
There are so many reasons to become a scuba diver. If you love discovering new places, meeting people from all walks of life, want to experience the rewards of pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, want to strengthen yourself mentally and physically, enjoy the connection to nature and the sense of community, diving is an incredible activity to achieve all of this and more.
Announcing the official opening of the Shark Trust UK's exhibition, "Oceanic 31" at Trebah Gardens in Falmouth UK! The work of 31 artists including mine, will be on display there as its first stop in this travelling exhibition.
