"Together We Went Through It" is a tribute to the special bond between dive buddies. As divers, we trust each other with our lives, knowing that in an emergency situation, we can rely on each other and our training to navigate the unknown. The sense of camaraderie and discovery that we experience as we explore new places is exciting and as divers know - it's addictive! Whether it's entering the next room or section of a cave. It's communicating with each other when we want to point out features during our swim. It's the fun when we can re-live parts of a dive as we excitedly share our impressions. There's nothing quite like it.
The painting depicts two divers in a cave, but it represents so much more than that - it represents the unique relationship and shared experiences that we treasure as dive buddies because "Together We Went Through It".
THE PRESENTATION OF THIS PAINTING:
- Acrylic painting on acid free watercolour paper mounted on stretched gallery wrapped heavy duty canvas
- Entire canvas is 12" wide x 16" high x 1.5" depth
- Image size mounted onto canvas is 8" wide x 13" high
- Canvas has been primed and painted with a neutral sand colour paint to frame it in a warm colour reminiscent of a sandy beach. Because it is a neutral background colour it will work in any decor.
- The painting comes unframed but is ready to hang without the need for framing. This gives it a more minimal modern look.
- If you do want to personalize the display of this painting with a frame, a floating frame treatment would work well in a neutral colour
- In room staging shows examples of the painting without a frame
